You From My World Is Now Available

Wanted to share my experience of writing this story but there are spoilers below so beware! 🙈

Plotting was kind of hard for this story. I did have some ideas. But it was difficult to string these ideas together, especially since the narrative needs to switch back and forth between the two worlds (real and story worlds) and at the same time, keep both storylines engaging. But as I plot, threads of connection seem to appear unconsciously and the story flowed well 😆

I was a bit sad though because the male protagonist only hated the female protagonist for the first few chapters. This is unlike my next story (which I already finished plotting before I even plotted this You From My World). But I already somewhat expected this. When I plotted You From My World, there were many ideas where the male protagonist doesn’t hate the female protagonist as much. More like friends and beyond? So I guess it’s still okay 😊

Also, this is the first time that I wrote a romantic scene for a character that’s not the protagonist. What a lucky antagonist! Hahaha but it’s necessary. The antagonist here isn’t as maniacal or sympathetic as the antagonist in The Postman. But I tried my best to show him wavering. After all, he’s half good and half bad.

I also made an effort to change the front and back matter slightly. If you read my other books, you will realize that the front and back matter of this book are different from the rest of my books. I wanted to keep this metafiction experience from beginning to end 😉
